read between the lines ((open))

As Marilyn got more and more leads for her article, she was spending more of her free time in the empty classroom used for the school newspaper club; if she got this done in time for the formal, then she can distribute the paper and focus on writing her columns on the Spring Formal over the Easter holiday. She wanted this to be the only thing everyone talked about for weeks!

There were a few draft copies covered in margin notes scattered across the desk as she typed away on the typewriter trying to add in details she didn't have earlier, such as Percy being the Weasley on the board, and make sure the writing didn't seem too obviously her. After all, she was using a pen name to publish it anonymously!

She pulled a freshly-written paper out of the typewriter and began to read it aloud to herself, just to make sure that it sounded right. The door to the classroom was slightly cracked.

Abeline was skipping down the hallway looking for Pandora when she saw Marilyn Grayson througthrough a crack in the door. She pushed the door open more and poked her head inside, "Hello marilyn. Why are you in here all by yourself?"

"Hi, Abeline!" she greeted excitedly with a wide smile as she held up the article draft. "I am working on a new article for the school newspaper! It'll be the BEST Hogwarts has ever seen written by moi!" Marilyn was very confident about it. "I want your thoughts!"

She wanted this to end up being a complete surprise to the Slytherins if possible.
