Valentine's Weekend ((RF))

On the weekend of Valentine's Day (the 13th and 14th), Hogsmeade was hosting a Valentine's festival. Today (Saturday 13th) was the day of the parade: cupids swarmed the streets spreading cheer and spirit, and decorative floats were led by the local businesses. The streets were full of life and rammed full of witches and wizards from across the country, as well as the students of Hogwarts as this was their designated weekend visit. There were various stalls selling Valentines and Springtime merchandise: Honeydukes had a large one selling their chocolates, and The Three Broomsticks were ladelling out their special love-filled brews.

There were carnival rides, games and prizes to be won for 'you and your sweetheart'. As the crowds are thick and the demand is high, there's a lot that could go unnoticed. Still, you're just here to enjoy yourself - right?

Madison was intrigued by the festivities the little town put on for Valentine's day as she walked the pavement. She looked around at all the kiosks and even stopped to purchase some chocolates

Alayna was glad she was back home for Valentine's day. She knew Ptolemy would probably go to some great romantic lengths as it was their first time celebrating as a couple. She strolled through the festival, trying to find him in the crowds.

It was Valentine's weekend, and he was supposed to spend it with Cassie. Well, he assumed he was. They did go out on some little dates here and there, but he didn't know if they could consider themselves official. It was even more difficult as he found himself thinking about Layla ever since she showed him how to be a rug.

There was no way he could pretend to be a rug in the middle of Hogsmeade. Nervously, he looked around overwhelmed by the amount of people and noise.

Cassie had just purchased a small box of chocolates to share with Lazar for the holiday. She didn't know exactly what they were, but she did not she got a bit annoyed when she saw how close he had gotten to Layla Cartwright lately. She walked through the crowds until she, quite literally, bumped into Lazar, "Oh there you are. I was looking for you."

No one deserved to be alone on Valentine's Day! That's why Matilda had a kisses stall set up on the main street. She was dressed in pink today, which was unusual for her, but it still didn't leave a lot to the imagination.

"I can be your Valentine! Kisses are one sickle each! All proceeds go to St Mungo's Hospital!"

Seeing Cassie and the box of chocolates, Lazar cracked a sheepish smile at her. "Huh-hello!" he greeted hoping his voice wouldn't get drowned out by everyone else's.

Then he realized he didn't get her anything. Didn't he see some carnival games?

"Do yuh-you want to pluh-play one of the games?"

Klaus wasn't normally one to celebrate the sickening love filled holiday, but he did enjoy festivities. So he made his way down to Hogsmeade when he saw Matilda riddle and her little booth, "Selling affections now, are we?"

Wade was currently pouring some virgin cocktail drink called Cupid's Arrow into someone's hood.

Although nobody demanded it, Victoire opened up a stall to sell her many seasonal varieties of mushroom chips.

"Helloooooooooo, Hogsmeade! I got some mushroom chiiiiiiiiiiips, yep! Chocolate flavored, strawberry flavored, yep!"

Pandora was standing talking to Abeline when she felt a cold liquid going down her back. She screamed and turned to punch whoever had done it

Thalia was glad to see Lazar was having fun with Cassie, but she was doing very poorly with the coconut shy. They'd even dressed up the coconuts and given them little googly-eyes and dresses, and hands using pipe cleaners. Determined to score a hit though, she kept paying the man to give her more shots.

Although she was mainly concerned for her grandson being born in a month, Edith showed up to the festival ready to interview any and everybody that came her way for a piece in the Daily Prophet.

"Hey, you! I'd like to hear your thoughts on this weekend's activities!"

Dominique walked around the festival, in hopes of seeing Javier, who she hadn't seen in quite some time. When she saw her sister selling her mushrooms, she chuckled, "Sales any good, Vic?"

Cassie smiled and nodded when he asked if she wanted to play a game, "Sure. I think I see Thalia over there. Maybe we could go say hi."

He may not have a sweetheart, but one of the specialty sweetheart mixed drinks was good enough. A nice chocolate liquor combined with ice cream and cotton candy. He was going to have to spend time in the gym after having one of these.

Savannah stood at the chocolate kiosk, exploring all the different selections they had. There were so many to choose from, she didn't even know where to begin.

"Hi there, handsome! Well... I just can't help but do my bit to spread the love. Do you have a date, or are you going to give a sickle for a very good cause and a very good smooch?"

Giggling, she clasped her hands behind her back and leaned forwards, smirking.

"Sissyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" she squealed excitedly seeing Dominique. "Not yet, nooooooooope, do you want to buy one? You get the sister discount, yep!"

When she turned, Wade quickly darted out the way as her fist swung. Laughing, he ran off into the crowd.

Klaus chuckled at her explanation of why she had the booth open, "I see." He then dug in his pants pocket and pulled out a few sickles, "I don't see the harm in that." He then placed the sickles on the table and smirked back at her

Harrison was stuck working at the festival as security. At least it got him out of doing some of the more heavy cases at the Ministry. He was situated near a set of portable bathrooms.

Serena was checking out one of the games when suddenly someone slammed right into her, "Hey. Watch it, Mackenna!"

"Yuh-yes, let's say hi!"

Hopefully, he wouldn't make a fool of himself in front of Thalia. Lazar took Cassie's hand and began heading towards his cousin.

"There's suh-so many people!"

Five minutes in and Lien already managed to lose James in the crowd. He ended up bumping into Alayna though, literally, as she seemed to be looking for someone too (no doubt Ptolemy). Rubbing his forehead from the collision, he smiled weakly at her.

"How's it going?" he asked, awkwardly.
