Something New (Skylar)

Kai wanted to try something new so here he was ready and willing to try jelly eel. It did sound gross to him but he only will ever live once so why not just go for it? He took a bite and actually liked it. It was really good.

Skylar decided to have a bite at the Jellied Eel. She had a craving for a meat and mash pie. And this place was the best. She entered the shop and brushed a few snow flakes off her jacket, as it had begun to snow. She grabbed a table near the window and watched the snow fall in fascination. When a waiter approached her, she ordered, then turned back to the window.

Kai watched as a blonde girl came into the shop and he had to admit that she was pretty but he wasn't really looking for someone. The male ate his jelly eel before looking at the blonde. "Have you ever had this before?" Kai asked her.

Skylar looked towards where a voice came and realized it belonged to a rather attractive man. She looked at his plate and shook her head "Never been one to try jellied eel. I have a weak stomach. The two would not mix." She said moving some hair from her face "How is it? "

When she asked how it was because she had a weak stomach, he was most certainly confused on why she was in a shop best known for the Jelly Eels that he was eating. "Surprisingly really delicious, I thought it would be gross but it's not" he explained and gave his opinion.

"I come here for the pies. They're amazing" as she finished her sentence the waiter sat her plate in front of her. She smiled up at him before he walked away and took a bite of her food. After she swallowed she introduced herself, "I'm Skylar."

When the blonde said she comes for the pies he nodded, he had heard they were good. "Well that means that this place is worth the money then" he shrugged. "I'm Kai" he introduced himself.

"Worth every knut." She smiled and nodded her head, "Nice to meet you, Kai." She wondered where she had seen him before. She recognized him from somewhere, "I feel like I know you."

Kai nodded at the blonde and when she stared at him, he tried not to glare and when she said he looked familiar he simply shrugged. "I could just have one of those faces or because of the fact that I own a bar and you were probably there before" Kai didn't recognize her.
