Jerome was patrolling the grounds that evening, which he didn't mind at all in the dry and mild weather. All of the students should be inside the castle at this time, but it wasn't curfew yet: if he did find anyone, he just had to ask them to go back. Through his travels, he found himself nearing the quidditch changing rooms when he heard a sound coming from within and decided to investigate.

"Is anyone here?" he asked, hearing his voice echo around the seemingly empty room. It was a little bit creepy in there without anyone inside: a draught was whistling in from somewhere, swaying some cloaks on pegs ominously. He put his guard up, kept his hand hovering near his wand, and crept further in.
