As her mum nor her sister weren't going to just drop in to America for a visit over a month or two exchange period, Marilyn was forced to go to the Owlery to either send or receive gifts or care packages. Marilyn had been going to the galleria fairly often as the novelty of it excited her. She bought a couple cute outfits for her future nephew that she thought Evelyn would love. The problem was she didn't exactly know how to package clothing to send an entire ocean away. She was walking all around the owlery trying to find out if they had something on hand for her to put the clothes in. She had to wait for the family owl anyway with mum sending a care package of her favorite treats and the latest magazine issues... Petting one of the owls, she looked at the view of the sky imagining Wade flying around with his beater bat in hand.

Before she knew it, tears were rolling down her face.

Maybe she was a bit homesick.
