Copelyn sat in the library still trying to work on her Mermish fluency and skills; Gobbeldegook was always an easier language to learn due to the amount of materials and media out there, but she wanted an actual challenge, so she settled on Mermish long ago. Imagine how revolutionary it'd be for magical diplomacy if she was able to build a bridge between mermaids and wizards! Languages were so useful, but it felt like most of her peers dismissed linguistics in general.

As she stared down at her book, her eyes got heavier and heavier until they closed. Her mind began drifting off into a fantasy world with her being one of the inhabitants of the long lost continent of Atlantis. As it was now underwater, it was populated by mermaids! She was a scuba diver sent to explore the land and bring back her findings. Yet, she never resurfaced to land. She became one of the mermaids. It was already an interesting dream...
