Spent much of his childhood out exploring the world looking for strange and unknown creatures and has a healthy love/respect for those creatures.
When he was ten, he and his family were out on one of their adventures. He thought he heard a creature and went to check it out and was attacked by a werewolf. He barely survived but was left forever changed as he was now forced to turn on the full moon.
Lysander is very active, and he gets even more so closer to the full moon because he has to use the extra exercise and exhaustion to keep away nightmares and also the aggression that comes from the curse of being a werewolf even if he would rather just be studying for his classes or even studying different creatures and lore about them.
