First topic message reminder :

Jed heard talks about one of his daughters being pregnant through some of the various family group chats. He hadn’t dare told Tabby yet since he knew she’d go nuts, and Jed wasn’t sure how he felt. Sure he wasn’t the best father, but he adored his kids, and didn’t want anything happening to Emery, because he knew Tabby would kick her out since she clearly was the power of the family, but he wanted to hear from his wife the truth.

He had summoned a family meeting in their dining room for dinner. Sending each one of his kids a Crystal message to meet. He knew Tabby was going to through a fit, so he needed to hear from his kids, the truth before she came into the picture. He knew this was his family, and wasn’t going to let Emery go if came too it, but she did hope she find a new place to stay over the Holidays until the fuels to the fire.

Although he wasn’t sure if she was really pregnant, but he wanted to know the truth. It was going to be a long Christmas that he was terrified for the outcome of, and just sat in the dining room waiting. His heart was breaking, but this matter needed to resolved since it involved his future son in law, and it involved the family connection.

They were summoned by the patriarch himself of the family. Gemma wasn’t sure how she felt, but as long as Emery’s mother didn’t show that was going to be fine, and Gemma counted moments until Tabby showed up, and she stood in the living room for a bit watching for Emery.

After about a few minutes, Gemma began to head towards the dining room. She stopped dead to see it was Faolan, and Gemma had to admit she wasn’t expecting him. They were hugging, which was usual for them, and she said. “Hey Faolan. I didn’t you know you were coming, but I suppose it’s perfect that you are here.” she said as she watched the pair hugging. If she were to count the amount of times, Faolan and Emery spent together, she’d probably be rich.

"Hi Faolan!"

As she was fairly used to Faolan now, she wasn't as shy with him as she was with Ethan. Now she was flat on the floor and rolling around on the carpet, she seemed a lot happier.

"I'm a melted ice cream like blerrrghhh..."

She started crawling back to the dining room now, commando style, shuffling on her elbows.

"Ow ow ow ow ow! Carpet burn!"

Standing up finally, she rushed back to her original seat at the table and cleared her throat.

"I am here, Fathaar," she said, in a very bad British accent. "Thee othaars are coming~"

Ethan was about to say something Emery about how he didn't mean to neglect her, but it wasnt like she hadn't kept stuff from him either. He frowned a bit when Faolan Finnigan arrived. It seemed to him like emery had replaced him as her best friend in life. He clenched his jaw a bit but still nodded politely at his house mate, "What's up man?"

Maverick was not looking forward to this little family get-together. He actually would much rather spend his holidays out playing some sort of sport or something. Back home he had always snuck into the nearby muggle town and played ice hockey on the frozen ponds and such but that was much more difficult here. Here, he just had to make do with whatever he could find to do. He knew that when they had these little family meetings that he had to attend though if only to be a buffer between his twin and his parents. He tried his best to protect her from their mother's wrath whenever he could. Emerald was the only reason he even bothered showing up. As it was, he was putting off leaving his room for as long as he possibly could. As he heard voices and footsteps going passed his door, he knew his time to put it off was up and he finally decided he couldn't procrastinate any longer. He walked down to the dining room, not stopping to say hello to Emery or her friends since they seemed busy at the door. with whoever was there.

Walking into the dining room he saw Layla sitting there, hearing her attempt at a British accent caused him to chuckle. "Needs some work, kiddo." He said as he ruffled her hair and took a seat beside her. A nod was given to their father in greeting but no more.

Why was Hazel being so nice to her? Ugh, she was more tolerable than Emery. Emery always got on her nerves and always managed to outdo Hazel in the whining department. Diamonique was looking at herself in the mirror applying some blush.

"Not a fucking date," she corrected. "I'm having a night out with my gal pals. Speaking of gal pals, where's that fat friend of yours?"

Faolan understood what she was saying, there was no reason to continue to keep this secret from her family. He also knew that she was worried that her parents would kick her out once they found out but he also knew that he would never let her be out on the streets. His parents would let her stay with them if she had nowhere else to go, he just knew that they would. He frowned as she mentioned those consequences. "If they kick you out, you know you can always come stay with me. My parents love you anyway and I know they wouldn't mind." Of course, he was sure that some of her other friends would make the same offer but he wanted her to know that he was there for her and that she always had somewhere she could go. He hoped that maybe he could take some of the worries off her shoulders.

Faolon shook his head when she spoke. "You've not been horrible to me. You've got a lot on your shoulders right now. I just want you to know that I'm here for you." He would always be there for her. Even if she had made a dumb decision and it had left her pregnant, he still wouldn't abandon her. He hugged her and it seemed like maybe that was just what she needed because she broke down into tears as she fell into his arms. He held her as she cried, not letting her go for a moment until she spoke once more. He pulled away enough that he could look her in the eye, using his hands to frame her face as he wiped her tears gently away with his thumbs. "I want to be with you, Em. I'm tired of just hooking up whenever." Sure, that meant that he wouldn't be able to hook up with others either but he could handle that.

Then Gemma, Layla, and Ethan approached and he chuckled at Layla as she quickly did her little act before bouncing off as she so often did. "Hey, Layla. Try not to melt into the carpet too much." He chuckled but she was already leaving. He shrugged at Gemma and gave Ethan a nod in greeting. "I just planned to stop by and check on Emery and bring her her gift but if she really does want me to stay then I will." He said with a half-smile.

Quinn knew that it would annoy her parents if she just showed up at the front door and knocked instead of showing up through the floo like family normally did, so that was exactly what she was going to do. She apparated to the property and then saw that her sister and some of her friends were already standing there at the door. She just watched them for a moment, waiting for them to move into the house but they seemed to just want to stand there. So, she walked up the path, wearing a grungy pair of sneakers that crunched along the gravel path. "You guys just going to stand there at the door in the cold?" She called out to them with a bit of a smirk on her lips as she pulled her jacket tighter around her.

Tabitha wasn't pleased that a meeting was planned without her input, but she had to go with it at this point since her husband called for the entire family to be involved. And from what she was hearing from downstairs, there were plenty of guests running around too. Ugh! Don't they all realize that SHE'S the one in charge? This better be worth her time or else she was going to go ballistic on everyone in the manor.

She was still in the master bathroom working on her skincare routine; she had to keep up appearances at all times, and her children hindering her wasn't going to stop that.

Hazel sent one last glance at Monique, “She’s with her family, and please don’t call her fat. You know it’s more unhealthy to starve yourself right.” she said as she peeked in before going to summon their mother who she felt was the better child to summon Tabby.

She walked into the master bedroom, and spotted her mother. “You know that you already look beautiful. Could we start heading downstairs?” she asked hoping to rip the bandage off. The anticipation was killing Hazel right now.
