wild ((hazel))

Emery hadn’t really talked to sister in reality since they both did their own thing. She had often confided in Cherry, but today she felt she should go and talk to her sister today while she was free from afternoon classes, and hoped Hazel would be around to talk too, so she had sent her a text to meet her in the Room of Requirement.

She wanted to tell her that she’d had been pregnant, and felt that Hazel would be more mad if she found out from anyone else. The Gryffindor waited outside the Room of Requirement for Hazel to come. It was weird since the two hadn’t been super close, and Emery did fuck her fiancée for a good couple of months, and now was pregnant by him, so Emery really needed to tell her.

Hazel got the text from Emery which was a little bit shocking, since she rarely came to her about things. She dropped what she was doing which was studying for her NEWTs, so she could spare the couple minutes to talk to Emery.

She walked up to the Room of Requirement, and spotted Emery. “Hey I got your text.” she said holding up her crystal. “What’s going on?” she sighed.

Emery admitted she didn’t expect Hazel to show up, so when she heard her sister’s voice behind her. The Gryffindor was incredibly shocked. “You came, I’m not going to lie, I didn’t expect you to come.” she said not trying to sound like a total bitch, but Hazel had a tenancy to only care about herself, especially when it came to Louis.

The door to the Room of Requirement had appeared, and Emery entered the room. “I’ll tell you in here, since I don’t want anyone hearing, because what I’m about to tell you, isn’t really a good thing.” she said with a sigh, not knowing Hazel’s response.

Hazel didn’t like the sound of what this conversation was going to be about, but she followed Emery into the Room of Requirement, and shut the door behind her, and took a glance around. The room had turned into what looked like a zen and mediation room, and Hazel raised an eyebrow a little shocked.

What did Emery have on her mind that required this set up. “Did you invite me to have a meditation session with you?” she said a little confused. Since that’s certainly what it looked like, but the expression of Emery read an different story. “Okay never mind, so what’s up?” she spoke crossing her arms.

“I’m pregnant.”

Emerald decided it was best to get to straight to the point.

Hazel did not expect to hear that, but she sensed something was up. Her jaw dropped in response, “You’re joking right?” she said not exactly sure what to expect, but she knew she wanted to ring Emery’s neck for this if she wasn’t joking.

Emery wished she was joking, and she shook her head. “No I’m not, and I don’t think you’ll be too thrilled to hear who the father of the child is.” she spoke as she bit her lip a bit. She didn’t want Hazel getting mad at her, but she rather Hazel hear this from her than anyone else.

This was just fucking great, because she knew their mother was going to kill the both of them, and when she told her that she wouldn’t be too happy to know who the father was of the baby, Hazel let out a huge groan.

Why Emery did you have to do this was her first thought. “Jovian is the father?” she said a little defensive. That’s the only guy she’d think that she be mad at, well she’d be mad at any guy for knocking up her little sister, since Hazel did care about her. She just sucked at showing it.

“Please tell me it’s not Jovian.” spoke Hazel a little nervous. She didn’t know if she could mouth being tied to Jovian forever by a baby, but it explained why he left for Spain if this was the reasoning.

Emery nodded at Jovian being father, despite her not exactly knowing, but all signs pointed to Jovian. “Yes it is.” she said with a sigh. “He wanted me to get rid of the pregnancy, but I told him no.” she said with a sigh since she didn’t feel like it was humane to do that.

“It’s why he left for Spain, and thinks you are going to the Canary Islands with him, because it’s in your agreement.” she spoke with a sigh. Emery felt like Hazel would never do that since she had her dreams for the ministry, and was in a committed relationship with Louis Weasley. “I told him that was fine, but I didn’t want you not having rights to see the baby. Since being a Cartwright is more important than a Medina, but he thinks otherwise.” she said hoping Hazel didn’t get mad.

She didn’t want Hazel going to Spain.

Hazel had no intentions of going to the Canary Islands with Jovian. As far as she was concerned he could go burn in hell for leaving her sister in the condition, and think Hazel would play the role of house wife, and let him neglect his child. “Yeah I have no intentions of going to the Canary Islands, and that man isn’t going to get off scotch clean, by impregnating you.” she spoke with a lot of anger. “The fact he thinks I’m that kind of person is fucked up. I am not like our mother who finds joy in making sure an illegitimate child is treated horribly.” she sighed. Hazel had a heart despite what people thought.

“I can’t believe you let Jovian get you pregnant,” she said scolding her sister a little bit, because Jovian was horrible, and now the new Cartwright was going to have Medina blood in it. She felt horrible Emery and let out a sigh. “Do you think you can handle being a mother?” asked Hazel with her arms crossed. She was going to respect Emery decision, but she hoped Emery knew what she was getting herself into.

“How long have you known?” she said hoping it hadn’t been long, because that meant she kept it from her for a while, and Hazel wanted to be there for her sister.
