Thalia was disappointed that she hadn't been asked to the dance, but there were a lot of boys who were completely hopeless at this school. Perhaps it was for the best: she didn't have to think about things to talk about with her date, she could just walk amongst some friends and have fun until the night was over. She was anxious to see who Maverick Cartwright was going to turn up with: probably one of the pretty, more popular girls. She realised that she had a tiny crush on him.

She was looking over the snack table, wondering what to eat first. Everything was quite generic: sausage rolls and cheese and pineapple on sticks. Yum?

"Do ye think pigs and cows and things get last words? Do ye think when they oink or moo that they're really saying pure poetry, and we just don't know?" she asked these questions to whoever was in earshot. Having a 'philosophical' moment by the snack table just happened sometimes.

Cernunnos decided to attend the dance wearing a dress as he found some of the other options to be too boring! He'd already turned a few heads and had some questioning by a professor or two, but there was nothing they could do about it as he wasn't breaking the dress code. Shaking his hips to the music, he backed himself towards the refreshments stand to grab a biscuit or two to snack on. This was going to be such a fun night!

Hearing quite the interesting question, Cernunnos looked towards Thalia. 'I want whatever you're on~!"

"Oh, I'm actually on the floor right now, but I cannay recommend eating it." It was difficult to say whether she was being serious or not, but her expression didn't give too much away.

She smiled at him.

"Ye look like a cloud! Oh... now that would be something teh be on, a wee cloud. Jist floating by!"

For some reason her imitation of a cloud was by flapping her arms like a bird.

"Whats ye name?"

"Oooh, you're a comedienne~!" Cernunnos chuckled liking her sense of humor. "I thought you were on something~!" Nibbling on a biscuit, he winked at a guy who passed by. Turned out he was straight as he was met with a look of disgust. His loss!

A cloud? That was a new one! "A cloud? Oooh, I love it~! I'm Cernu! And you?"

"Oh, aye," she agreed, but was actually confused. There was no comedy routine and she really was on the floor. She was confused. Nonetheless, she liked Cernu's energy.

"Cool! I'm Thalia," she said, smiling, "Do ye think it would be weird if I started doing my cheerleading routine right here? Thus is a good space and crowd to practice, aye?"

She looked around at everyone. It was kind of crowded.

"Maybe if I find the others we could all do it for ye!"

Cernunnos shook his head. "I think it'd be cool~! Better than some of those air traffic control dances I see some muggleborns doing~!" He was one of those gays who refused to use TikTok. Vine was sooo superior!

"Ooooh, how many are on your house's squad~?"

"Ah no, nothing like that. Although a flash mob dance sounds like a good idea now that I think about it. What if all of Ravenclaw jist started dancing together?"

She had seen a flash mob when going through the London underground once. That was quite a few years back though. Still, wizards hadn't caught onto it yet!

"Three of us!" she said brightly.

A flash mob? Cernunnos squealed at the thought. "Oooh~! That'd liven up this joint! Can I pick the music~?" He had sooooooo many good choices on his phone. How would his peers feel about Ayumi Hamasaki? Or Cathy Dennis?

"Who's all on it other than you~? I think one of the Huxley's in in my house's squad!"

"Aye but... a flash mob with three people? No..." She cringed. "Maybe on the stands at the Quidditch game. That would be great. But a lot of Ravenclaw hate dancing and stuff like that..."

She wondered whether Hufflepuff house was more lively than their common room. Probably was.

"Oh, aye! So we have Lazar, my cousin. Then Sierra. She might be my cousin? Actually I'm pretty sure she isn't. She's pretty anyway. I want to have Faye and Paloma, and Cherry too. I don't know about Paloma though... she kinda looks like she could scratch me face off at half time..."

It was so disappointing that their team's squad didn't have the interest.

"I didn't realize Ravenclaws hate having a good tim~!"

That was sooo disappointing! Imagine being less into singing and dancing and fun than Slytherin! It was so bizarre to think about! Maybe the Ravenclaw stereotypes are true!

"I doubt you'll get Faye either! Her face isn't very cheerful~!" He frowned.
