Caught Out There (Jace)

Delilah was furious that Jace had got caught in a mission that she had sent him on, she also blamed herself for his arrest. Her brain was thinking of ways that she could get him out but that was going to have be planned perfectly for now she wanted to visit him.

Managing to get in to see him by using her connections with the ministry and pretending to be his lawyer, she was given a hour with the young man. She hoped that he was holding up alright and also wanted to reassure him he would be out soon.

Jace was sat in the corner of his cell just staring at the wall. He was listening to the voices in his head. So many voices. They were yelling at him ideas of how to escape his imprisonment. He had to get out of there. He had to get back to Delilah. He looked up when someone approached his cell and couldn't believe his eyes, "Del?"

"Hey Jace," she said as she looked at him and could not believe how stupid was she to send him on that mission. "How are you holding up? I will get you out of here soon I promise," she told him wishing that she could get him out right now but that would not be right as they would both end up being caught and he would get an even longer sentence and she did not want that.

Jace scrambled to his feet and rushed to the cell door. He wanted to reach out s d touch her more than anything. "I'm holding up ok. I'm sorry I failed you." He felt horrible that he had failed at his mission. That he had let her down. When she said she would get him out soon he looked up at her, "You mean it?"
