making mischief ((open))

James was in the Entrance Hall brushing his hair with the comb he was given to make this prank a bit more fun. With his long hair now pink, he smirked as he let up some non-explodable luminous balloons into the ceiling. Instant party!

Now all he needed was some music. Hmm...

Oh yeah! Some Muggle song.

Louis had just come from the basement level up to the entrance hall, and was greeted by... a lot of balloons. Then this crazy-sounding song started to play, and he thought their intentions were to bring back the Welcome Back Dance from a few weeks ago. Laughter and titters broke out amongst the crowd, Louis with them, and he tried looking about for the culprit.

Ah, right - James.

"Nice hair." He said, grinning.

"Hey, somebody had to make this joint fun!" James responded with a huge laugh as he took out a party horn and blew into it. "You could learn a thing or two from me, cuz."

He looked around. "If Carina bitches at me, I will either make it more obnoxious or go off on her."

Louis laughed. He supposed that all he was doing at the moment was work, work, work. Even for him, it was wearing. "Where'd you get all this stuff from? Uncle's shop?" More than likely the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes stocked party supplies. He didn't go in there too often though.

"Try not to give her a hard time about it if she tries to stop you," He said, beaming, "She's only trying to adhere to her role. Watch this." He said suddenly, and did a bit of a complicated wave of his wand. Bubbles the size of goldfish bowls started bobbing about alongside the balloons. Ah well, that blew off some steam...

Carina had heard a commotion and decided to investigate. When she got there she groaned and rubbed her temples "honestly James come on" then she saw Louis and a frown formed on her face " really Louis? You too? Come on guys. Do you have to make my life difficult?" She couldn't be mad at Louis. Her body wouldn't let her.

Nodding at Louis' question, he smiled. James shrugged hearing Carina butt in. To him, Carina didn't know how to have fun, and he didn't understand how Louis could handle it; she just seemed too much of a push-over to him.

"Aren't you on suspension?" he asked blowing into the party horn between each word. "Want some streamers?"

Louis grimaced a little when Carina arrived.

"He's right, Carina," He said brightly, and threw one of the streamers over her shoulders. "Technically you're not a prefect for the time being, so technically you can overlook things that you had to stop before. It will be a good way of sending a message to the Professors who did suspend your position." He was being kind about the way he said that. It was not his intention to embarrass her or anything.

Carina wrinkled her nose a bit at Louis words before sighing and taking the streamer. She tossed it at Louis face before smiling softly at him "you're lucky you're cute. I guess it couldn't hurt to let loose a bit" she said poking his cheek playfully

"Ew, PDA," James commented scrunching his nose. "What brings you down here, cuz?"

He made a point to ignore Carina; she always annoyed him, and he was never a fan of spoilsports.
